The Challenge

A German automotive parts recycler needed replacement parallel twin screws for their compounding line processing PP with 30% glass fiber. OEM replacement quotes were extremely expensive with 12-week lead times.

Our Solution

Nanhaiya reverse-engineered the screw elements to OEM specifications and manufactured a complete set of co-rotating twin screw elements in W6Mo5Cr4V2 tool steel with alloy spray welding on mixing elements. Delivered within 4 weeks.

Results Achieved

Cost savings of 55% compared to OEM pricing. Lead time reduced from 12 weeks to 4 weeks. Screw performance matched OEM quality with equivalent throughput and mixing efficiency.
